Finally, The wait is over. Ripple’s XRP is now listed on Coinbase Pro. Coinbase one the major cryptocurrency exchange announce that on 25 Feb in a blog published on Coinbase website.
Ripple (XRP) support is currently added for Coinbase Pro users in the US (excluding NY), UK, supported European Union member nations, Canada, Singapore, and Australia. Other regions will be added later.
Initially, XRP is added for transfer mode only means users can deposit for the first 12 hours. Trading of XRP will be started soon.
Coinbase Pro added three pairs for XRP that is XRP/BTC, XRP/USD, XRP/EUR.
Coinbase blog added that XRP can work as a bridge currency in transactions involving different currencies such a U.S Dollar, Japanese yen, Euros, Francs, and others in use on the XRP network.
XRP is now only available for the Coinbase Pro users. Coinbase did not make any statement that XRP is listing on the Coinbase (coinbase.com)non-professional exchange.
Ripple (XRP) is the third largest cryptocurrency by marketcap. Ripple is now trading at $0.318. The market cap os XRP is now $13.1 Billion.
