E-Commerce Giant Mercado Libre Partnered With Facebook Cryptocurrency Project

South American E-Commerce Giant Mercado Libre announced the Partnership With Facebook Cryptocurrency Project backed by Libra Association reported on 14 June 2019.

Mercado Libre is the biggest e-commerce marketplace that provided its services in 19 countries of South America.

An executive of the Mercado Libre company told Cointelegraph Brazil that they are going to integrate the upcoming Libra blockchain-based Facebook cryptocurrency project into their e-commerce platform where Libra coin will be used as a form of payment. The partnership is confirmed by an anonymous executive of the company where the full details will be provided by them later.

The executive also told that the company will create its own node which works on the Libra blockchain network of the upcoming Facebook Cryptocurrency project.

Recently the Facebook company announced to launch the testnet on Libra Blockchain next week for their upcoming Libra cryptocurrency project that will be operated under Libra Association.

Earlier this week, Facebook gets investment from dozens of big companies including Uber, Paypal, Visa and Mastercard for its cryptocurrency project.
