According to a research by a U.K based crypto exchange firm CEX.io, 27% of the surveyed United Kingdoms citizens wish to see more cryptocurrency integration in a real-world application, as reported by BTCManager on 27th of June.
The firm CEX.io provide with the results to BTCManager that focused on application adoption level, the above report was prepared with collaboration with the London based research firm previously and has highlighted answers from about 1,013 respondents.
As per the survey, about 37% of respondents said they would like to see the technology integration with everyday technology like payments platform and even in mobile storage capabilities.
The other 27% would like to see Crypto used in real-world application like credit card payments and in sending money over long distances.
When they were asked why they owned Cryptocurrency, 21% agreed that their purchase was just curiosity and interest-driven.
18% bought because they loved trading and surprisingly 21% of them just bought the Crypto and waited for there price surge.
Sadly 28% of those who don’t have any digital asset said that they would have purchased it if they had better knowledge and understanding of it. Likewise, 12% would have bought it if they knew who to store the cryptocurrency securely.
While 11% of them would have bought if they could buy real-world goods with digital currency and 7% if it was easier to buy.
A survey report by Kaspersky Lab on 17th is June Revealed that about 19% of people have purchased Cryptocurrency globally.
In a recent report, 81% of the world population has never purchased a cryptocurrency, while 10% of the respondents said they “fully understand how the cryptocurrency works“.
According to a report by a Dubai based financial consultancy firm deVere about 68% of high net worth individuals have already invested in cryptocurrency while some are planning to invest in it by the end of 2022.
