Speaking to host Anthony Pompliano on The Pomp podcast, gross investor Dan Tapiero believed that about 15 trillion dollars of wealth would flow into bitcoin and gold over the next ten years.
The co-founder of Digital Property Equity Fund 10T Holdings said financial institutions could invest 10% of their portfolio in gold and 5% of their portfolios in bitcoin over the next decade.
Further, he also explained that some companies can even change that ratio. Some speculative investors are immersed in venture capital, investing 10-15% in their portfolios.
Although this is a huge part, $15 trillion out of $100 trillion. For him, this could be a huge flow into gold and Bitcoin even more. I think it will be even more so in the end.
While continuing the conversation, Tapiero also discussed the co-existence of Bitcoin with Gold in the upcoming future. As per Tapiero, Bitcoin is much bigger than gold and can be a more valued protocol for the Internet in the future.
The investor called Bitcoin a “fast horse,” and he discussed the next five years in terms of impact.
According to him, the Gold will be at 4,000, so if it doubles if gold is at 4,000, bitcoin is probably somewhere between 300,000 and 500,000, respectively.
While the investor bosted of his 25 years of experience while investing in close assets classes over the wall street. The investors also referred to Pompliano’s article and commented that gold and Bitcoin would not end up co-existing together and said,
Look, there is no doubt that Bitcoin surpasses gold, so I think people should stop talking about it on Twitter.
Tapiro said that while bitcoin is a new technology from a technical background, gold is old. He also said that Bitcoin could be “a system that grows on par with the entire legacy system.”
