Bakkt partnered with Galaxy Digital For New Institutional Offering
To complete organizational order for Bitcoin, Galaxy Digital’s trading engine will be associated with Baker’s custody services as a combined process.
‘white-glove’, to introduce this service, The Intercontinental Exchange’s digital asset custody and derivatives platform Bakkt has associated with crypto asset manager Galaxy Digital for organizations seeking Bitcoin (BTC) enhancement.
The association will put together Galaxy Digital Trading’s (GDT) matching engine and trading platform o along with Bakkt’s digital asset custody services.
Galaxy Digital’s Tim Plakas said,
“We designed this partnership to service the uptick in demand our two firms have received from traditional asset managers seeking access to physical Bitcoin,”
Plakas also added
“Together, Galaxy Digital and Bakkt offer a safe, efficient, and well-regulated route into physical bitcoin access,”

John Conneely, Bakkt’s custody head said in an interview with Bloomberg, the association was generated to solid organizational order for the crypto-asset exhibition.
The association will observe GDT source solidity from over 30 market makers, with trading appearing in 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.GDT produced over $1 billion in digital asset amount within the Q1 of 2020 crossing its mark, granting unoriginal and structured crypto products.

‘Bakkt Warehouse’ introduced last year till then the ICE subordinate has listed over 70 clients on board for its custody services.
Bakkt utilizes both warm and cold storage for the safety of funds, with the most of funds stored offline. Funds stored in the Bakkt storehouse are protected by a $125 million insurance policy, with clients able to buy more than $500 million in extra protection.
