Christophe De Beukelaer started an initiative to push education on bitcoin adoption and its advantages.

Christophe De Beukelaer, MP in Belgium, recently appeared in an interview with Cointelegraph. In the interview, Christophe shared many types of things that are going on in the EU and also explained what he is doing against such a critical situation.

Christophe converted his last month’s salary in Bitcoin 100% and also aimed to convert his all salary of this year in Bitcoin, to show better support in Bitcoin. Right now his monthly income is 5,500 Euros. So probably he will accumulate a better amount of Bitcoins in his pocket.

In the interview, Christophe told Cointelegraph that they entered the Bitcoin & blockchain world in 2017. At that time he thought that crypto may play a vital role in the traditional financial system.

Christophe claimed that it will be risky for Europeans across the continent if they will not get into Bitcoin and also if they will not try to learn this technology.

“One of the biggest risks we have in Europe for the moment (…) The political people don’t take time for this journey. They are very busy with the day-to-day administrations of the cities and the countries, but they don’t stop and say, OK, what’s happening now? What are the big evolutions coming in the next 10, 20, 50 years? And that’s the job.”

MP also noted that if Europeans will not get an education in crypto and Bitcoin then surely they will go behind the US and China like developed countries in this tech world.

When Christophe questioned why he chose Bitcoin, instead there are numbers of crypto assets better than Bitcoin in terms of technology and use cases. Then the MP replied that Bitcoin is the first crypto asset and also its Consensus Proof-of-Work is more better and stable to give security.
