Basically, Bittrex will remove the trading pairs of the XMR, DASH and ZEC from bittrex exchange market on Friday, 15 January 2021, at 23:00 UTC.
According to report, there is no reason was given by bittrex team for the delisting of these privacy coins from their exchange platform,
Usually, exchanges remove or delisting the privacy coins mostly in order to preserve the privacy of their users as a way to be compliant with know-your-customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations that are spreading around the world.
After delisting of coins from bittrex exchange, users will get the 30 days deadline for withdrawing their coins from bittrex exchange wallet, as per the policy of the bittrex exchange.
Dash team responded to bittrex on twitter by doing following tweet in order to reinstate the dash removal from bittrex exchange.
From a technical standpoint, Dash’s privacy functionality is no greater than Bitcoin’s, making the label of “privacy coin” a misnomer for Dash. We have reached out to @BittrexExchange to request a meeting with their compliance team. Hopefully this will be rectified soon. https://t.co/QA66OoshPn
