The Blockchain-based Internet browser startup Brave browser launched the new version of their Brave browser software with a special feature that enables users to withdraw their BAT tokens from the browser wallet, reported on 24 July 2019.
According to the report, users need to verify their identity in order to withdraw the BAT tokens and Brave partnered with crypto banking startup UpHold that helps users in the identity verification.
Users are also allowed to buy more BAT tokens after verifying their identities.
Previously users usually earn BAT tokens by viewing ads and sending those tokens as tips and auto-contribution to the content creators, but now users are allowed to deposit more BAT tokens from other sources such as a credit card, bank account, or even another cryptocurrency wallet after verifying their identities.
