The chairman of Bridgewater claimed that there are huge chances that regulators will kill bitcoin if it gains huge success in future.

Speaking at the SALT conference in New York on Wednesday, Ray Dalio, Bridgewater Associates’ chairman and co-chief investment officer, shared his point of view on bitcoin and crypto. He explained how crypto may be threatened by the regulators.

According to Ray, if Bitcoin or crypto will get huge success and become mainstream use then surely regulators will kill it through laws.

“I think at the end of the day if it’s really successful, they will kill it, and they will try to kill it. I think they will kill it because they have ways of killing it”

This is not the first time when Ray Dalio shared his thoughts on crypto regulation by the regulators. Earlier this, he also stated almost the same type of statement in May and claimed that there are huge chances that government and regulators may impose huge restrictions over Bitcoin and through the laws and rules they will retard the success and growth of Bitcoin and crypto.

Ray Dalio is a bitcoin believer and also he thinks that Bitcoin is much better than cash and also he owns. As he is at a high level position in a fund management firm, absolutely his statement and support for Bitcoin is worthy.
