The Canadian City of Richmond Hill is starting accepting payments in Bitcoin for property tax from residents and businesses, reported on 15 July 2019.
The cryptocurrency trading platform and payments processor Coinberry partnership made this initiative possible to adopt bitcoin as payments for property taxes.
The Bitcoin payment option will be available on their official tax payment website for all the residents of the city just after the deal with Coinberry successfully concluded.
