Canadian City Start Accepting Payments In Bitcoin For Property Tax
The Canadian City of Richmond Hill is starting accepting payments in Bitcoin for property tax from residents and businesses, reported on 15 July 2019.
The cryptocurrency trading platform and payments processor Coinberry partnership made this initiative possible to adopt bitcoin as payments for property taxes.
The Bitcoin payment option will be available on their official tax payment website for all the residents of the city just after the deal with Coinberry successfully concluded.
“We believe that the demand for a digital currency payment option is only going to grow in the coming years, especially amongst millennials,”

Last month, the city of Vancouver In Canada is possibly considering a ban over the Bitcoin (BTC) automated teller machine, with a reason for having money laundering issues.
In June, the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Canada has launched the blockchain training course for the graduate students.
