Coinbase announced its partnership with the National Basketball Association and Women National Basketball Association as a sponsor partner.
Coinbase is the biggest crypto exchange in the United States and also this exchange targets crypto traders from the global market, where crypto regulations are friendly for the crypto exchange.
Coinbase exchange planned fully to promote their Coinbase wallet and exchange services among the sports fan people.
On 19 October, Through a blog post, Coinbase announced that they established a sponsor deal with the National Basketball Association (NBA) & Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). This deal will remain for a multi-year.
Under the sponsorship deal, Coinbase’s logo and branding will be advertised by the NBA on television shows during the game period.
This partnership with Coinbase is not limited to the NBA & WNBA. Coinbase will also remain under the same sponsor deal with NBA G League, NBA 2k League, and USA Basketball.
The Chief marketing officer at Coinbase, Kate Rouch, stated about this partnership with NBA and added
“The freedom to participate and benefit from the things you believe in is at the heart of Coinbase’s mission. Nobody believes this more than NBA and WNBA fans. We’re proud to become the Leagues’ official cryptocurrency partner”
Kate also said that, through the partnership, we will try to interact more perfectly with the sports fan community & will try to engage them.
NBA partners with Ankr
NBA seems very excited to go with the crypto firms based partnership. Recently blockchain firm Ankr & NBA partnered to bring adoption of blockchain education through a better Crypto education among the developers.
