The chief executive officer announced to donate 25 dollar to all the users of FTX exchange, which are from Ukraine.

In the present time, Ukraine vs Russia fight is going on. Reportedly the Russian military showed a better stand against Ukraine. The majority of the countries are in support of Ukraine and are introducing sanctions against Russia to isolate it from the global market.

On 25 February, Sam Bankman-Fried, CEO of global crypto exchange FTX, confirmed that he will support his platform’s Ukrainian users with a total of $25 airdrop to each account.

At the current exchange rate, $25 will be equal to 745.50 Ukrainian hryvnias. Hopefully, FTX’s airdrop to its users will motivate its users to support their country by giving donations to its Ministry of Defense to power up financially against the Russian military.

Few people shared a positive meme for this latest support of the FTX exchange. That can be seen in the picture attached to the tweet.

According to some attached details on the Twitter thread, in 2020 FTX was holding around 1 million users, so we can expect very well how much it costs to the FTX exchange in this situation.

Ukraine getting huge crypto donation

The Crypto Community supported Ukraine with a total of $4 million worth of Bitcoin. A single contributor donated $3 million worth of bitcoin.

In the same time frame, Russia is getting financial services-based sanctions. So surely it will impact a very big number of Swift payment networks out of more than 11,000.
