Orbis will offload the transactions from Cardano mainnet

Cardano will have its first scaling solution based on ZK Rolloups to give a better Ecosystem to the Defi-based platforms in the Cardano network. 

Cardano is the second biggest smart contract platform after Ethereum. If we look over the current on-chain activities, then we will find that it is surging rapidly and trying to achieve the number one position in the industry. The influx of new projects to the Cardano project is showing that Cardano is ready to give a very big competition against Ethereum. 

On 25 February, Cardano dedicated scaling solution project Orbis announced its idea to support the Cardano Blockchain network to bring high-level scaling solutions so that it can offload the network of Cardano mainnet. 

Here it is a request by the Orbis team. After the approval, the Cardano ecosystem will have its first scaling solution-based project. 

Cardano focussed on Defi protocol 

The recent months of development work by the team of Cardano, IOHK, showed that the majority of the work were dedicated to introducing huge efficiency in the network so that it can handle high traffic on-chain transactions easily. However, there is a limit and no one crypto project can cross that limit to provide high efficiency to its users always. 

The initial boost to the Cardano system in the Defi industry showed that Cardano is going to be the next biggest hub for Defi protocols because of fewer fees based transactions. 

The Cardano project team is also working on Hydra to bring high Scalability to facilitate micropayments, better than Solana’s Proof-of-history concept. 

If the Orbis team will get introduced into the Cardano ecosystem then surely it will result in a very big competition in the industry against Ethereum & Solana like blockchain networks.
