Billy Markus explained how Tesla is using the popular meme coin Doge as a real payment option.
Dogecoin is a popular crypto asset in this crypto world and this coin is popularly known for its ability to provide a better payment solution for this crypto and non-crypto industry. However, not many use cases are available with Dogecoin but the initiative of Dogecoin Foundation and Tesla CEO Elon Musk is exhibited to force the world to use Dogecoin as the best crypto coin in payment option.
On 14 January, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that Tesla merch is buyable with Dogecoin.
This tweet of Elon Musk was not strange because the whole crypto industry knows very well that Elon is the biggest Dogecoin supporter in this world.
Billy Markus, a past Dogecoin developer ( who is no longer in this project but still he is an Advisor member of nonprofit organization Dogecoin foundation), tweeted that Tesla company is making use of Dogecoin in a real way of payment.
Billy tweeted with a screenshot of a picture of Tesla’s website page, where merchs are available to buy. Billy explained that buy of Tesla merch is not dependent on the US dollar.
Through the tweet, the Dogecoin developer reminded the initial concept of the Dogecoin project and wrote 1doge= 1doge.
Confusion among Shiba and Doge community
In the latest, Elon tweeted a single emoji with a “top-up arrow”. Now both Shiba and Dogecoin communities are confused, whether it is for Dogecoin or Shiba Inu coin, can be seen in the below picture.
