Twitter’s Decentralized Social media initiative will be lead by BlueSky

The Bluesky team will work for Twitter to bring their dream to reality. Bluesky will lead the development work of decentralization of social media.

Many times Jack Dorsey stated and indicated that they will work on social media decentralization through the adoption of Blockchain technology integration in social media platforms. Now this report confirmed that Twitter hired a crypto developer team to bring their decentralization initiative into reality.

On Monday, Graber shared this information that they will work as leaders in the decentralization of the social media project of twitter. They said that they will be the main charge in this project. 

The Bluesky team will work with a group of  “thinkers and builders”.  they will show their talent for twitter initiative. As per tweet, partnering closely with Twitter and other companies”. 

Jack Dorsey announced his plan of decentralisation of social media for the first time in December 2019. At that time they said that there are huge challenges for social media platforms. The main challenge is enforcement by the countries which want huge control on the platforms. 

“New technologies have emerged to make a decentralized approach more viable. Blockchain points to a series of decentralized solutions for open and durable hosting, governance, and even monetization.”

So it seems that Jack Dorsey is almost close to his dream to make a decentralized social media platform that will enable the real power of social media instead of global rules and centralisation of authorities globally.
