El Salvador’s official Bitcoin wallet is ‘95% fixed and soon it will resume services

El Salvador’s president took to twitter and clarified that the official Bitcoin wallet will start its operations soon.

As all of us know very well that on 7 September, Bitcoin law was introduced and on the same day Chivo wallet also launched for the citizens of Salvador. On 8 September, many people claimed that they are not able to login and few claimed that there is a problem with particular mobile numbers to get registered on the app.

Nayib Bukele, president of El Salvador, informed all the twitter followers about the status of Chivo wallet. 

Through the tweet, Nayib Bukele confirmed that almost 95% errors of the Chivo wallet were fixed and soon 100% will be fixed and then users will be allowed to use the wallet. 

Bukele confirmed that all the 200 Bitcoin ATMs in El Salvador and also 50 Bitcoin ATMs in the US are working perfectly. And people can take help from the Chivo point. 

Mr. Nayib Bukele also explained that why this happened, and added 

“Launching everything in three months was too much of a challenge and we made mistakes, but we are already fixing them and hundreds of thousands of Salvadorans can already use Chivo with no issues.”

According to Nayib Bukele, around half million users are currently registered on the Chivo wallet. And when errors will be fixed by the team, then all other people will be allowed to register smoothly.
