Daily transactions on Ethereum Network exceeds one Million on 28 June for the first since May 2018, as per the data provided by leading Ethereum block explorer Etherscan.
As per data, on 28 June the number of confirmed transactions noted on Ethereum Chain was 1,004,170, that is the highest number of the daily transaction after May 2018. The current level of daily transactions is still down from the all-time high transaction of 1,349,890 registered on 4 Jan 2018.
The monthly high of the transactions on Ethereum blockchain is noted on Dec 2018. That month saw an all-time high number of transactions, 115 Million transactions are confirmed on the blockchain.
Recently crypto research firm Diar reported that Ethereum volumes on decentralized apps (DApps) make a new all-time high in April 2019 with 776,000 ETH transacted.
Bitcoin network has also seen a surge in daily transactions and looking to break the all-time high of Dec 2017.
The number of transactions is not directly related to the price but transactions show the demand of the cryptocurrency and there is more chance of price increase. Bitcoin has seen an all-time hash rate in June 2019, that hints that new people are coming into Bitcoin mining.
