Mexican-style fast-food restaurant chains jumped into crypto payment support.

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. This company is popularly known as Chipotle. It s an American chain of fast-casual restaurants in the US, UK Canada, Germany, and France. The company is specializing in tacos and Mission burritos that are made to order in front of the customer. 

On 1 June, Chipotle announced to support the crypto payments for its services besides the traditional payment methods.

The company stated that it is happy to announce that it will accept Bitcoin payments.

For this initiative, the company established a partnership with Flexa. Flexa is a digital payment processor platform, which remains always fraudproof. 

To celebrate this moment of crypto adoption, the company also offered 10% off on the orders for the first crypto payment users via Flexa-enabled apps. 

With these steps, Chipotle joined those types of restaurants, which Accept crypto payments. Chipotle is not the first-ever company that started to accept payments in crypto. Since 2013, Subway accepts crypto payments. In Venezuela, Pizza Hut started to accept crypto payments in 2020.

Payment gateway helps crypto adoption

It is worth noting that the majority of the newcomer companies in crypto entered the crypto industry with the help of crypto payments processor companies.

Digital assets payment supporter crypto firms like Bitpay and Flexa are playing a major role for those companies, which want to go with crypto payment options. 

We can take the example of American cinema entertainment network company AMC Theaters, which caught the hand of BitPay in the final phases to bring crypto payments accessible more easily for the users.
