Google encountered many crypto mining apps which are operating their services in inappropriate ways.
It is very common for every platform to face misleading items and services. Right now Google Play Store found a huge amount of fake crypto related apps. In the past, Google terminated many crypto cloud mining related apps but reportedly there are many third party platforms which still allow people to download such kinds of apps.

Recently, Google identified a total of 8 crypto mining apps, which were dangerous for the users. Google removed 8 apps for now. And they will further take more action on such kinds of apps.
These apps were forcing users to see video ads to get free coins and also they are demanding $15 to start mining & increase mining power. So this was a totally unfair way of operation from the point of the Playstore.
According to Trend Micro, security research firm, there are more than 120 applications which are running on the Playstore and they are offering similar kinds of services which are offering inbuilt payment options to purchase mining Rigs to mine Cryptocurrency.
“Despite these apps not being associated with cloud-mining operations or having any cryptocurrency-mining features, some of these apps prompt users to pay for increased cryptocurrency-mining capabilities via the apps’ in-app billing systems that range from $14.99 to as high as $189.99.”
The eight apps which are removed by Google are Bitfunds, Bitcoin Miner, Bitcoin (BTC), Crypto Holic, Daily Bitcoin Rewards, Bitcoin 2021, MineBitPro, and Ethereum (ETH).
