Huawei Planning To Implement Blockchain Technology In Latin America

Chinese multinational telecommunications company Huawei Technologies is planning to implement blockchain technology in Latin America reported on 13 June 2019.

According to the report, there is a possibility for the products and services based on the blockchain to be available on the continent very early in the future, stated by a Huawei executive at the conference.

Everything will depend on a market analysis that we are developing and in case there is a market demand for blockchain we will make our services available in this area. Today we are focused on storage, 5G and telecommunications.

The company reportedly revealed that they have some deals with the government of Brazil to provide the storage solutions and also discussing to develop 5G infrastructure.

One year ago, Huawei company created the blockchain-as-a-service which is accessible on its cloud platform where customers can create or manage their blockchain applications at a very low cost.

Previously, The Fuzhou city of China will provide rent subsidies to encourage development in the blockchain industry.
