The research found that Twitter was the most engaging social platform for the crypto industry.
The year 2021 was full of ups and downs. On one side we saw China’s ban on crypto then on another side we saw El Salvador, which adopted Bitcoin as a legal currency. And also we have seen many major changes that changed the whole industry into a new economic alternative industry against the Stock/share market.
When it comes to discussion about crypto, then Twitter & Discord are big platforms to give space for people to go with the crypto-related discussion with less spam probability.
However both Twitter and Reddit did their work in the blockchain & crypto inclined initiatives but still, Twitter grabbed top-level positions in terms of choice by the crypto community to do a discussion about crypto.
The main trend of crypto-related discussion started with Elon Musk when he started to support Bitcoin, and after that number of tweets about Dogecoin. And that pumped Dogecoin in multiple folds.
Every person in non-crypto was listening about it and to see Elon Musk and Dogecoin’s popularity, they were going to Twitter.
At that time frame, El Salvador was also one of the reasons to grab attention in the whole world. Nayib Bukele, president of El Salvador, started to share his point of view on Bitcoin to adopt and create history, which can never be forgotten.
Michael Saylor, CEO of Microstrategy software firm, also spread the wave of crypto, especially Bitcoin.
Miami Mayor Francis Suarez also started his initiative to get his salary in Bitcoin and later after the completion of election hurdles. Suarez said that he is interested in the Bitcoin mining initiative.
The Miami Mayor supported Bitcoin, many other politicians followed Suarez to support Bitcoin, to get a vote.
These were the most popular reasons to grab the non-crypto people to get into a crypto discussion on Twitter.
