Manchester City suspend partnership with a mysterious crypto firm

The Officials of Manchester City Football club established a partnership with a mysterious crypto exchange earlier, but now they suspended the partnership within a week.

On 12 November, English Premier League football club Manchester City established a partnership with 3key Technologies, the crypto firm. The main aim of the partnership was to bring awareness about reporting on decentralized finance.

Daily Mail published a report recently on this partnership. According to Daily Mail, Manchester City suspended its partnership with 3Key Technologies. Because they didn’t find any crypto footprint of the firm.

The Guardian revealed that 3Key technology has no trace in the crypto activities and also the executives don’t have their feet in crypto. So there is a big reason for the cancellation of the partnership.

“The closest anyone has come to verified information is a photo of a man with a ginger beard in a checked suit who may or may not be 3Key’s ‘chief growth strategist’ Jacob Caine”, a reporter at Guardian

Alongside these things, the Popular crypto website Cointelegraph also tried to contact the chief marketing officer of the 3Key Technology firm, Ryan Hodder. But failed to contact.

However, few reports claimed that there may be chances that 3Key Technology may have its hands in Crypto or Defi and maybe the company has no records online, so from the point of doubt, officials of Manchester City suspended their plans with this firm.

Well, all these things are totally weird for a football club to announce a partnership openly with a firm, which is not perfectly known, and also have no records online regarding crypto services.

Earlier this, Manchester football club announced its partnership with Socios.com  to launch a token on the Chiliz blockchain.
