Microsoft Corporation is a multinational American company. The popular products from this company are the Xbox video game consoles and the Microsoft Surface lineup of touchscreen personal computers. In 2019, Microsoft became the biggest software company in terms of revenue that the company generated with its services.

On 21 Feb 2023, Ankr blockchain announced that the team collaborated with Microsoft and aimed to provide blockchain data processing services to enterprises & organisations.

Along with blockchain data service for other entities, this partnership also will allow easy hosting of nodes on Microsoft’s cloud platform.

Chandler Song, co-founder, co-founder & CEO at Ankr, said that such high-level partnerships with giant companies are clearly showing the successful journey of Crypto Web3 in the internet world.

“The result will be an era of extremely prolific building for blockchain-based applications from new Web3 projects as well as large enterprises entering the space,” Ankr CEO added.

Rashmi Misra, Microsoft’s general manager of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, also shared her opinion on the vision of this partnership and noted that it will help to solve real-world business challenges with the help of reliable & scalable access to Ankr blockchain data.

Earlier this, Microsoft worked with Azure Blockchain but in March 2021 the company suspended its plan in the blockchain innovation sector without any proper reasons. In Dec 2022, Microsoft announced a ban on cryptocurrencies mining on its cloud platform citing risks such as cyber fraud, attacks, and unauthorised access to customer resources.
