Monero which is a high privacy provider coin in the crypto community. And also it is a best choice for those people who remain anonymous with their crypto transactions. On 27 July morning, the Developers team of Monero coin shared information about a bug that was encountered in the Monero blockchain network. They shared about the big twitter.

According to the tweet by Monero, this bug has been detected by a person named Justin Berman, who is also a developer in blockchain (cryptography).

The Monero team said that If users spend funds immediately following the lock time in the first 2 blocks allowable by consensus rules (~20 minutes after receiving funds), then there is a good probability that the output can be identified as the true spend.

So clearly in the time Interval of less than 20 minutes ( confirmation before two blocks), a chance to breach the privacy will take place, where sender will encounter the privacy of the receiver. Since this privacy breach is not very significant from the point of view of a normal user, but still it is a big factor for those who want 100% privacy and can’t wait for 2 blocks confirmation to spend the funds to transfer the fund to another user.

Team clearly said that this bug will not reveal the Monero address & amount of the transaction. All they suggested that, For now users should wait at least 1 hour so that transactions get fully confirmed with at least 2 blocks, until they will fix the bug.
