Under the new guidelines by the TikTok company, No one users will be able to promote Cryptocurrency or Cryptocurrency related projects from now.
In recent months many memes coins gained popularity because of TikTok Influencers.
Many TikTok Influencers promoted many crypto coins like SafeMoon, DogeCoin and few others also.
But now the company has decided that no one TikTok user will be able to promote any video related to Cryptocurrency & Cryptocurrency related projects.
And also they included those projects/apps promotion which are Investment based, loan or credit like.
According to reports, many greedy users at their platform are promoting Cryptocurrency, crypto projects, loan & credit apps which are only target to catch young’s from the world.
No doubt there are lots of opportunities for Tik Tok users to make lots of money through advertisements but the company claimed that there are lots of those types of users which are using their platform in the wrong way and misleading people for crypto related projects & Investment.
So the TikTok company decided to ban all such kinds of users who are doing such activities and they recently updated branded content policy.
And also they claimed that they added some bots in their system that will detect such types of contents and will delete automatically.
Company stated:
“Over the next few weeks, we’ll begin using technology to automatically remove some types of violative content identified upon upload, in addition to removals confirmed by our Safety team”
Because of the increasing demand of Cryptocurrency, a big issue is now coming in the Cryptocurrency market that is advertisement media.
There are numbers of platforms which are good at their level but there are many platforms which are not following basic guidelines which are necessary for the Cryptocurrency advertisement.
And that why Advertising Standard Authority of U.K. planned to introduce new guidelines to restrict such kind of misleading ads whether they are related with the ads network or influencers which are on YouTube, Facebook, TikTok or Twitter.
