Finally, Opera is adding Multiple blockchain layer-1 and Layer2 networks to its new crypto browser.

Opera is a popular web browser, which is famous for its better support for open-source platform among internet users. Last year Opera stepped officially into the crypto & blockchain industry with the partnership with Polygon and Solana for its crypto browser to provide Web3 features to its users.

On 30 March, Opera announced the integration of Bitcoin, Polygon, and Solana-like networks in its Web3 native browser.

“adding support for several major blockchain ecosystems, including Solana, Polygon, StarkEx, Ronin, Celo, Nervous, IXO, and Bitcoin.”

At present Opera, a crypto browser allows its users to use the Dapps and protocols of the Polygon or Solana, which is available with the help of DiversiFi, a platform powered by StarkWare.

Jorgen Arnesen, EVP Mobile at Opera, also commented on the success of Opera to provide such decentralized services. Jorgen said that Company started to work on Web3 based concepts around 4 years ago and now the company is standing with leading blockchain and Web3 technologies.

Further added:

“Web3 is on its way to becoming a mainstream web technology and users won’t need to know they’re interacting with it. They need to get a superior user experience and a true benefit.”

Earlier this, Opera launched its crypto wallet in the beta version in mid of January of this year for desktop and mobile users. Here the user experience is getting much better over the past 2018 version of the crypto browser of Opera.

In 2018, when Opera launched its Web3 and crypto wallet supported browser then at that time all the features were available at basic level.

At present, Polygon and Solana project is working very hard to push the efforts of Web3 based development work as a leader in the crypto industry. So here entry of Polygon and Solana in Opera will result in better results for the Web3 future.
