Protest against Bitcoin adoption Bill In El Salvador

Few citizens of El Salvador are protesting against the Bitcoin law bill which was proposed by Nayib Bukele in recent months. Protesters are against the bill because there are many problems to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender.

According to a report, Many people are protesting against the Bitcoin law bill & Nayib Bukele in El Salvador. Even in the present time no one can protest for three months because of Covid-19 pandemic situation in the world. 

The activists are against Bitcoin adoption as legal tender. According to the activists, Bitcoin adoption will bring lots of problems for the country. Many criminal activities will get better support because of Bitcoin and in that situation the government will not be able to take action against criminal activities including money laundering also. So the government of El Salvador should revoke their approval on Bitcoin adoption as legal Currency. 

And also most of the activists claimed that they will face lots of issues because of the salary in Bitcoin. According to them, volatility is a very risky part for them, so how can the government consider bitcoin as legal tender. 

It is worth to notice here, At one side these activists are violating the laws of El Salvador to protest. Because according to the current situation no one can protest. 

Secondly, president of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele already stated that salary in Bitcoin is not a restriction. It is a choice. People can choose Bitcoin partially in their salary. So how these people are protesting against the government.

Even the government of El Salvador is ready with their own official Bitcoin digital wallet and planning also to launch their own stablecoin. Then how money laundering activities will spread their hand in El Salvador.

Few media reports say that it may be a political matter and some opposition parties are going against Nayib Bukele’s decision.

Well here we can’t say anything until Hon’ble President Mr. Nayib Bukele will respond on this matter.
