Crypto Gaming startup firm Refereum said they get a partnership with the best mobile game PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds).

The startup firm says that the native token Refereum (RFR) will be used as a reward for PUBG players. Refereum said that they are supplying RFR tokens to PUBG for the initial rewards.

Dylan Jones, Refereum CEO said:

“PUBG has granted Refereum special access to the PUBG login system, and we’ve tightly integrated our quest technology into the game through access to their production API”

The initial campaign will end on 20 August. During this period, PUBG Players can earn RFR tokens by daily logging rewards and completing some basic tasks.

Refereum reveals that they also offered the partnership to other games such as State of Decay 2, Fortnite, Apex Legends, and the Battlefield series. Refereum conducted the ICO (Initial Coin Offering) in early 2018 and raised a total of $32 million in the token sale.

PUBG has been awarded as the best mobile game of 2019. As per Steam (a gaming streaming platform) reports PUBG has roughly 350,000 players daily on Steam. This is only the data of PUBG Steam players, the mobile PUBG version has more than 100 million downloads.

Jones further added:

“PUBG is the perfect example of a game that wants to reward its hardcore following. Utilizing blockchain to do so helps them tap into their entire playerbase of influencers with micropayments, no matter their size, instead of rewarding only the biggest names.”

The question arises in everyone mind is what players can do with RFR tokens earned in PUBG game? The answer is a simple player can buy Royale pass, weapon skins and can send tips to their favourite player.

This is very big news for crypto space and obviously Refereum. Blockchain technology is accepted and used by the best game. Things are getting hot in the industry.
