Ripple (XRP) welcomed all the crypto Web3 devs from the world to show talent in the XRP Ledger ecosystem.

Ripple is a San Francisco headquartered fintech company that provides cross-border payment services. Ripple Labs is the engineering team behind XRP ledger (XRPL), a Proof-of-stake (PoS) blockchain network. XRP is a native coin on the XRP Ledger.

On 26 April 2023, RippleX, a dev team of the XRPL project, invited all the interested devs who want to develop & deploy their financial protocols on XRPL.

Interested developers can submit their application with RippleX before 18 June.

The announcement confirmed that devs may come up with their development plans focussed on projects that will tackle various financial use cases, such as financial equity and inclusion, regenerative finance, decentralized finance, data and indexing, payments, e-commerce, merchant tooling and integration, tokenization, decentralized compliance and security, interoperability, developer tools, oracles, and insurance. In short, a centralized, decentralized & hybrid form of blockchain protocols will be allowed to deploy.

Here it will be interesting to see the dominance of XRP Ledger in the upcoming few years because XRP Ledger is a highly efficient & fast network and surely Defi protocols on this crypto network will attract a very big number of small-budget retail traders.

At present, Ripple is in collaboration with more than 20 Central banks in the world. Under the partnership, Ripple will provide technical guidance to develop Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDCs), a centralized form of national digital currency.

Since Dec 2020, Ripple has been in a legal fight with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) but still, the company is not failing in its global collaborations & tech innovations.
