As the game itself which is plotted in near-future London where the Cryptocurrency has usurped the British Pounds, all this set the game to be at a greater possibility to come up with a Blockchain technology within the game.

With all this Ubisoft has likely to use the Ethereum Cryptocurrency but still, they have not mentioned officially which Cryptocurrency implementation will they use. But with certain actions of them, it looks like the firm is behind the use of Ethereum (ETH).
