The biggest smartphone company, Xiaomi, claimed that they want to get into crypto but they will still wait for the regulatory clarity to operate their services with full of Legalization.
Xiaomi’s global vice president, Manu kumar jain talked to The Economic Times that the company wants to get into crypto payment services but due to lack of regulation issues they will wait.
“We will want to wait for all the regulatory things. Of course, crypto is an area, which is extremely interesting, and is the biggest buzzword and is doing exceptionally well. But we would want to understand more on the regulation side”
So clearly, Xiaomi believes that crypto may bring a huge revolution in their tech gadgets business but they want some kind of better regulatory clarity so that they don’t face any kind of problem. So they want to comply with the rules and regulations with 100% surity.
This news should also not be shocking for us because already in recent week, Xiaomi’s portugal branch started to accept crypto payments because they have a better environment to accept crypto Portugal.
