Samsung rolling out Crypto features on it’s Budget Galaxy phone

South Korean electronics giant Samsung is soon planning to bring out Cryptocurrency and Blockchain related feature across its range of Galaxy devices.

As per the press release on Tuesday the Business has confirmed to configure the wallet in such a way that the digital wallet can be made available on even the low-cost phones models and also has plans for future expansion of the crypto feature over a great extent.

To this the senior managing director of the product strategy team at Samsung Electronics’ Chae Won-Cheol who is currently working under the wireless business division said,

HTC has already added the in-app swap feature to its Blockchain based phone Exodus.

So as to overcome it he added,

“We will lower barriers to new experiences by gradually expanding the number of Galaxy models that support blockchain functions. We will also expand our service target countries after Korea, the United States and Canada.”

As per now, Samsung’s Blockchain feature is currently available only on the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S10. Which is additionally equipped with blockchain features such as digital signing and decentralized apps (dapps), and they are now planning to release them over a wide range of Galaxy phones.

As per Business Korea, Samsung has recently been in talks with Telecom firms such as SK Telecom and KT Corporation and are possibly been working together in near future to bring up the blockchain-based digital identity verification tools and other initiatives.

Seeing the deepening interest of the Samsung to bring the Crypto handy to the phone, HTC commented to it by confirming that their upcoming phone will run a full Blockchain node.

The firm Samsung is also been investing about $3 million in Cryptocurrency wallet startup ledger.
