Crypto Mining Ban In Canadian Town
A small town in New York near the Canadian border, Massena, banned Cryptocurrency mining firms from operating their operations. This ban will last for temporary 90 days only.
According to reports, Massena town officials don’t want to see garbage like things in the road of their town. So due to aesthetic concern the imposed ban on Cryptocurrency mining firms for 90 days. It is also not sure whether this ban on mining firms will be extend by authorities of Massena or they will be revoked after 90 days, because the main reason is firms requirements of such mining equipment and to hide those firms equipment which are visible is not a matter of decision only.
Supervisor of Massena said that it is the order of government officials. Because they noticed computer equipments in the trailer on the main road of town. So these mining firms are disturbing the beauty look of this town. That why they decided to halt Crypto mining operations.
“We don’t want it littered with these trailers that are pumping out Bitcoin. We just want to make sure if they’re going to come here, that it’s a nice presentable building”
So clearly they don’t want to give priority to Bitcoin, they want to give priority to the aesthetic look of town. It is worth to note, Canada is a crypto mining friendly region of the world so probably they will not impose this restriction for long term.

Here it is expected that they will take their decision back because of unemployment roles. Around 10 year ago many people lost their factory jobs in small border communities across North America. Crypto/bitcoin mining activities are a better opportunity for these people in the present time to have a job in these firms, so they probably have to go for further appeal to the government authorities to get a way to fix the problem that local authorities are facing because of mining firms.
