Discord cancels Ethereum integration plan
The social media platform, Discord, cancelled its plan of Ethereum blockchain integration and will go with the suggestions of platform users.
In the present time, the Discord social networking platform is known for its spam-free and better ecosystem for the gaming industry. But it seems that Discord users are not happy with the initiative of the Discord team toward crypto & blockchain integration.

The CEO and co-founder of the Discord platform-Jason Citron- revealed his crypto initiative cancellation plan through the official Twitter page account.
Jason said that they will not work on the internal integration plan. And also asserted that they will try to make the Discord Ecosystem spam-free.
“Thanks for all the perspectives everyone. We have no current plans to ship this internal concept. For now, we’re focused on protecting users from spam, scams and fraud”
However, Jason asserted that there are opportunities with the web3.0 initiative but there are also problems. So they will try to do their best with better measures.
” Web3 has lots of good but also lots of problems we need to work through at our scale. More soon”
It is worth noting, Discord CEO didn’t reveal whether they will integrate blockchain and crypto initiatives in future or not.
Crypto as associated spams & Scams
At present, the crypto industry’s growth is in its initial phase. So most people are not able to understand this industry because of a lack of education.
If we see Twitter, which is a crypto and blockchain inclined platform, then it is full of spam based users. And if we look at Facebook, then there are several scammers, who are always working to catch innocent people to facilitate the scam.
