Swedish authority forced to return 33 Bitcoins to a criminal

A criminal got arrested and at time of arrest his 36 Bitcoin was seized by the investigation authorities. Later the criminal got his Bitcoins back.

This is a story of a guy who got arrested by Tove Kullberg, the public prosecutor in charge of the case.

According to reports, the person who was arrested by the police was involved in the drugs dealing with Bitcoin use. And he made around 36 Bitcoins through his criminal activities. 

In may 2019, this drug dealer got caught by the police in charge of drug dealing. And the Swedish authority said that the criminal debut by around SEK 1.3 million in the value of Bitcoin (36 BTC). Criminal faced a punishment of 3-4 year prison. 

Now, when the criminal is released from the prison, he pays his fine of SEK 1.3 million by just selling 3 Bitcoins. And now the criminal have his rest of 33 Bitcoin. 

Even this criminal did a crime but he got his money almost all back. This is an unfortunate mistake done by the Swedish authorities in the statement and that made this criminal to get his money back through Bitcoin. 

This news came into light when Radio Sweden reported this news. They said that in the time interval of 3-4 year prison, the price of Bitcoin increased by 10× and that resulted in huge profit for that criminal. 

“Moral of the story is to keep your money in Bitcoin value instead of fiat value, it will make you rich in every circumstance”.
