Blockchain analytics firm Elementus tweet on Feb 4 that hackers have liquidated tokens of worth $3.2 Million on major cryptocurrency exchanges.
Cryptopia has announced on 15 Jan that the exchange wallets are compromised and hackers stole Ethereum and ERC20 tokens. Cryptopia is in unscheduled maintenance initially before officially announced the breach.
Elementus firm on 20 Jan reported that the funds stolen from Cryptopia are worth more than $16 Million. The attacks last for two weeks and Cryptopia has no access to the wallets. Hackers stole additional Ethereum worth of $180000. Elementus report that more than 10000 Ethereum wallets are affected by this hack.

New Zealand police with cybersecurity agencies are investigating the Cryptopia Hack.
New Zealand Police recently posted an update that indicates that the investigation has made excellent progress.
Cryptopia updated users that the exchange is again working in a couple of weeks in February.
