Visa crypto card is launched by p2p exchange Paxful for USA clients

The world most popular Peer-to-peer (p2p) cryptocurrency exchange Paxful has launched a Visa crypto card for U.S. clients reported on 02 November 2020.

According to the report, The crypto card which is the product of a collaboration with fintech startup Ternio, will let users to convert Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies into dollars in order to make purchases, open a checking account as well as withdraw their funds from any ATM throughout the world.

The visa debit card service created by Paxful and Ternio are pitching as a way for “unbanked” or “underbanked” and this card allows users to gain access to traditional financial services. On the other hand, the crypto card can be used at over 45 million merchants and ATMs where the companies also said that the card will have a minimum limit of balance of $10. 

“Whether looking to invest in education, start a business, or simply manage the financial demands of everyday life, there should be a viable option for everyone across the globe,” Paxful CEO Ray Youssef said in an announcement. Ternio CEO Daniel Gouldman added that his company is “committed to providing interoperability between cryptocurrencies and the traditional banking system.”
