Crypto hater Senator Warren says the Crypto sector needs to follow all traditional financial rules

Elizabeth Warren once again passed a negative statement against cryptocurrencies. 

Elizabeth Warren is a 73-year-old American politician and former law professor who is the senior United States senator from Massachusetts, serving since 2013. In the crypto sector, she is popularly known for her harsh statements against cryptocurrency adoption in the US jurisdiction. 

On 27 Feb 2023, In an interview with Bloomberg TV, Elizabeth Warren said that she wants to collaborate with the crypto sector, to push the crypto related financial activities under compliance with traditional financial rules.

Elizabeth hits back against all those crypto companies which are not following the traditional financial rules and only doing these works which are helpful for their sustainability. 

Indirectly, Elizabeth alleged that crypto companies are only following a limited number of rules to gain growth in the crypto business.

She added:

“If there’s plenty of space for the drug traffickers and the human traffickers, oh and the terrorist, and the ransomware scammer, and the consumer scammers..”

Furthermore, she added that all the companies need to follow the US financial system in the US jurisdiction and Crypto companies should also fall under those same rules. 

The US Senator also dragged attention toward her Digital Asset Anti-Money Laundering Act which aims to bind all the crypto companies & related players e.g miners, and validators, to follow traditional rules & laws to comply with anti-money laundering measures.

Earlier this popular Bitcoin news media “Bitcoin Magazine” reported that Elizabeth Warren honours anonymous Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto during the 15 anniversary of Bitcoin.

The current trade price of Bitcoin (BTC) is $59,237 & this trade price is 5.7% higher over the last 24 hours. 

In the last 30 days, the trade price of Bitcoin surged nearly 41% and it seems that it will continuously go up to hit $60k, analysts say.
